Roberto Ferrer met Ernesto Lecuona while studying at the university. While performing in a number of concerts with the Maestro he decided to seriously dedicate himself to the artistic world. Lecuona provided letters of recommendation for managers, theatrical agents, artists, etc. Those recommendations alone with his talent took him to the most important theatrical stages and television shows like The Ed Sullivan Show, The tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Kraft Music Hall Show, and the soap opera "Days of Our Lives on NBC.
Ferrer has taken his concerts to all the continents of the world, he has recorded 12 LP's for RCA Victor his most important recordings were from the latin telenovela No Te Quieren Para Mi (You Don't Have To Say You Love Me) and (Siempre Te Amare) composed by Armando Manzanero from the soap opera of the same name 1969.
Roberto Ferrer has had a very successful 25 year artistic career. For the last 10 years he has been writer, producer and host of the very popular radio show "Punto de Vista" (Point of View). Recently Roberto has recorded on CD the narrated life and songs of Bobby Capo entitled "Un Bardo de Piel Canela llamado Bobby Capo".
